Our Programs

Research shows that when the family gets proper help, their loved one with a use disorder/addiction has a much greater chance of attaining and sustaining recovery. Our programs establish a structure, map and process with tools that transform the family’s ability to respond, tend to their own self-care and engage in positive, life-changing way of communicating with their loved one.

Families who go through the BALM program often find themselves able to tend to their own wellbeing, able to contribute compassionately to their loved one’s recovery, able to powerfully partner with their loved one’s treatment providers, thus serving as true allies in recovery.

What Our Families Say

"We would not have survived without working on our own recovery while our son was working on his. We attended support groups and therapy to learn how to walk alongside our son in a loving way, to use boundaries and effective communication while not contributing to his substance use disorder.  Just like our son, we have been on a personal growth journey that has brought us closer as a family."
